About the Owner

From a young age, Matt Chicos knew his path would lead to the trades. By sixteen, he had set his sights on becoming an electrician and business owner—a vision he brought to life after earning his Electrical Technology degree from the Northeast Institute of Technology in Boston in 1994.


Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and continuous learning, Matt built his career on-site and in the classroom, mastering his trade and mentoring others along the way. In 2013, he launched M Jack Electric Inc, transforming a small partnership into a thriving electrical contracting company known for professionalism, teamwork, and integrity.


Today, Matt leads M Jack Electric Inc with a focus on strategy, training, and growth. His mission is simple yet profound: to build better electricians. Rooted in values of punctuality, pride, and collaboration, Matt’s leadership reflects both a professional dedication to excellence and a personal commitment to leaving a lasting legacy—for his team, his clients, and his family.
